Dr Madhuri Khilari has a passion for making epilepsy care more accessible in our country. Dr Khilari is an avid Electroencephalographer , Neurologist and an Epileptologist. Her clinical interests are treatment of refractory Epilepsy in pediatric and adult populations. 

Her valuable experience in the field of Epilepsy stems from her epilepsy fellowship from NIMHANS,Bengaluru and another epilepsy fellowship from Bristol, UK. She has also worked as an independent consultant in Epilepsy Unit at Bristol, UK. After her neurology training from JIPMER, Puducherry, she has been practicing as a consultant in Epilepsy and Neurology from prominent hospitals in India. 

Dr Khilari believes in fighting for making lives of People with Epilepsy easier. 

In India, massive undertaking needs to be made to make people aware about the right treatment of epilepsy.  It is important to understand that there are over 12 million people with epilepsy in India, and over 5 lakhs of these are the ones that need Epilepsy surgery but have no access to the procedure because of lack of awareness about the condition and treatment options. This number is increasing with time because the patients who need surgery but cannot avail it are increasing every year. Epilepsy care is crucial, and each epilepsy patient needs to be in the right hands for a journey towards precision medicine.
